Developing tools and processes for compliance programs (both customized and generic)

Complete integrity management plans for pipeline operators, gap analyses for compliance with regulations and inspection protocols, enhancement and revision of existing safety and O&M plans, detailed processes and procedures and engineering training. Clients include EnCana USA, Equitrans, New Jersey Natural Gas, Southwest Gas and Dominion.

Project Management

Developed compliance procedures and engineering training manuals for ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, Explorer Pipeline, and Marathon Pipe Line for those companies' respective Integrity Management Programs.  Integrated integrity management into ExxonMobil’s crisis communication plan. Edited engineering practices.  Marketed ExxonMobil web site designed to introduce employees worldwide to access of documents and standards. 

Business Process Analysis and Reengineering

Documented business requirements for Siebel 99.6 implementations; developed and delivered training program for customer relationship management tool for Compaq Computer Corporation.  Analyzed the relationship between sales, customer service and credit groups, and reengineered processes to help speed sales.

Intranet delivery system

Implemented a system containing more than 2000 documents and 50,000 dynamic links to other documents and data. Developed training and promotional materials, quick reference tips, and created templates and style guides in support of the project for Mobil Technology Company. 

Assistant News Editor

Helped lead a copy desk and layout desk of seven editors and chose the news content of the paper; oversaw layout and nightly production.

Editorial Page Editor

Wrote a weekly column and daily editorials. Designed an editorial board that included input and feedback from rotating members of the local community. Performed detail editing of daily copy, headline writing and checking of stories for libel, fairness and accuracy.
