KURT SONDERMAN

Kurt is an expert of "What if?" and the master of The Plan. He is a retired military officer with more than 27 years of continuity of operations experience, from logistics to space operations. He's developed plans and programs for base realignment and closure of two Air Force installations, and developed processes for sustainment of strategic aircraft overhaul, taking discrepancy rates from 66 percent to less than 1 percent.

During a few years away from active duty, he authored federal regulations on air quality while working for the EPA, and developed an accounting process for non-point source air emissions for Air Force compliance with DOD, EPA and state regulations.

In one of his last military projects, he revamped FEMA/DOD intermodal commodity transportation. This transformation eliminates a 72 hour delay in response time and saves $1.5 million per federal incident.
